SSPADS is deeply sorry for your current situation. SSPADS offices in Chicago Heights and Country Club Hills are NOT emergency shelters. When possible, SSPADS will try to divert people from shelter as there are lengthy waiting lists to enter emergency shelter.
There is a huge community need with several hundred people waiting for emergency shelter and affordable housing placement. Wait times are sometimes weeks or months long. We are working diligently to shorten these wait times.
