Through the PADS Daytime supportive service center guests can participate in a variety
of self-improvement and enrichment programs including:
- Computer training
- Navigating the Internet
- Basic web design
- Job readiness classes
- Job search techniques
- Basic adult education classes
- “Steps-to-Success” Employment services
- Pre-school testing and assessments
- After school tutoring
- Keyboarding
- Crafts and self-expression workshops
- Food service skills development
- Sanitation training readiness classes & Tutoring
- Landscaping services
- and the new "Gateway to HOPE" Program
PADS Daytime also provides ongoing case management services, ombudsmen counseling
services and direct referrals for mental health services and substance abuse programs.
GED and vocational training classes are provided through Prairie State College.
