      PADS Daytime provides ongoing case management services, ombudsmen counseling services, direct referrals for mental health services and substance abuse programs, and many supportive services through Project WIN (Wellness Initiative Network), a collaborative effort comprised of community based medical, mental health, addiction and veteran affairs service providers working with PADS through the coordination of the Cook County Department of Public Health.  Furthermore GED and vocational training classes are provided through Prairie State College.  Through the PADS Daytime supportive service center guests can participate in a variety of self-improvement and enrichment programs including: computer training, job readiness classes, job search techniques, basic adult education classes, "Steps-to-Success" Employment services, after school tutoring, self-expression workshops, and much more.

Daytime Program (1994)

   This year-round supportive service center is operated by South Suburban PADS at 414 W.  Lincoln Highway, in Chicago Heights, Illinois. The primary goal of PADS Daytime is to provide motivation and opportunities so homeless men, women and children can return to mainstream living. Guests who use PADS Daytime have access to telephone services, including a message system; a permanent address, and locker facilities. In addition to these basic needs, the program makes Laundromat facilities available.
